Hola, I'm Laura from Spain
My own experience learning a second language wasn’t joyful. I struggled with English through school and college, and even now, my accent still carries traces of those early challenges.
So when my first child was born in Canada, and I became his only source of Spanish, I knew I wanted something different. I didn’t want worksheets, flashcards or pressure. I wanted connection.
So I sang. I told stories. I created simple, soulful rituals that made Spanish part of our daily rhythm.
Now, years later, both of my sons are trilingual — and I share this same nurturing, story-based approach with families around the world.
I have created a space for children to feel safe, seen, and inspired as they explore the Spanish language in their own way and time.
A Path That Blossoms With Your Child
Instead of fixed "levels," we honor natural development through three stages:
Semilla (Seed)
“We’re planting the seed of Spanish: letting it settle in without pressure.”
For: New learners or those just beginning exposure to Spanish.
Gentle listening, songs, rhythm, storytelling, and feeling safe in the language. We are getting used to the melody of the language and modulating the sounds.
Brote (Seedling)
“Their roots are taking hold — Spanish is becoming familiar and playful.”
For: Children familiar with basic vocabulary and rhythm.
Repetition, playful interaction, naming familiar objects, and simple phrases. Children begin introducing themselves, singing on their own, and exploring early grammar through stories.
Flor (Bloom)
“Their language is blooming — vibrant, expressive, and ready to share.”
For: More advanced learners or heritage learners deepening fluency
Creative language use (storytelling, dialogue), cultural context, reading simple texts, and extended conversation
